Welcome Page

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Ruth Ifcher 15:26, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

forum account

Joshua, I saw your comment about waiting for a forum account for a year and a half! Your application must have been deleted among spam applications because we weren't able to verify their identity. I did see that you applied today and have subsequently accepted it. Sorry it took so long for you to get in, but hopefully it will be worth the second effort! D. Matt Innis 03:36, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Well, just a half year, but thanks, I appreciate it. Mainly I was just concerned I'd be waiting another half year and for me, I like to help a site become better by providing feedback, as well as the writing and editing. My identity is on Facebook and MySpace as 'Jzyehoshua', and I could've given extra contact info if necessary. Anyway, thanks for the help! --Joshua Zambrano 06:13, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
It most definitely would have been longer had you not re-applied. I do wonder if others were lost. Keep me informed if you hear anything. D. Matt Innis 01:45, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Alright, thanks again! --Joshua Zambrano 01:52, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

Old Testament

There's a fuller and more accurate account of the contents of different Bibles in Books of the Bible. You might want to think about how to fit this into your table format. Peter Jackson 15:32, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

Oh alright, thanks for the advice! I'd been working on the Angels and Satan pages recently, and had just adjusted the Old Testament page seeing it lacked structure. If other pages have better material it would be very helpful to incorporate it, thanks! --Joshua Zambrano 16:02, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

It's been a pleasure to work with you even on areas where our beliefs may differ. I appreciate that.

You might find the article science fiction and religion to be interesting. Howard C. Berkowitz 17:43, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

Likewise :) I scanned the article you provided quickly, but it looks pretty complete, and I don't know that I'd be able to contribute too much to it. I was reading a book recently actually called Shadowdale in the Forgotten Realms series that might fit the genre the article's about, although it might fall more under Fantasy than Sci-Fi. --Joshua Zambrano 19:11, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
