Preparation:
  1. Heat a grill pan, or skillet, while preparing the sandwiches.
  2. Spread soft butter on bread slices.
  3. Layer the corned beef, sauerkraut, and cheese, then spread Thousand Island or Russian dressing on the top bread slice.
  4. Sandwich the bread slices together.
  5. Grill using the preheated pan.
  6. Serve warm or cold.
